Comments from Coach Lamar Harris:
"Overall I feel as though we played very hard tonight. This was a physical contest and our players made some good plays throughout the game. We had four or five big plays that could have possibly lead to scoring, but it seems as though we bogged down on all of our first half drives early in the game with the exception of the scoring possession early in the first quarter. Those drives could have made a difference on the scoreboard. I'm very proud of our guys for holding in there and continuing the physical fight from start to finish of the game, but I wouldn't expect anything less from this group. We fought hard, we played physical and we stood our ground in the first half. Those first half drives where we could have finished won't reflect that to those who weren't here at the game. We did seem to run out of gas in the second half after coming back on the field and turning the ball over on downs on our first possession. We'll just put this game behind us and continue to move on thru our schedule. We still have some big games awaiting as the season continues and we can't give up the fight at this point in the season."
