Comments from Head Coach Lamar Harris:
"Tonight we started out playing very well and seemed to be on trek to accomplish our set goal for this game. The big lead at half-time was exactly what we had hoped for and played into our game plan. Since our starters played as we are capable of playing, that allowed us the opportunity to give our backup players and younger team mates, whom don't often get to enter the game, a chance to see playing time on the field. That's important to our program and will benefit those young players as well as our overall program as they continue playing and learning the game. The plan now is to keep the team focused on our goals, prepare for the play-offs ahead of us, and remain geared up as a team as we approach the practice week ahead. I'm proud of the younger guys for their fight and determination to compete throughout the second half of tonight's game. Vina has a very determined and well coached team but they are facing some of the same issues which we all face in schools of our size. We've been there and we know the circumstances surrounding those issues with any program. They'll bounce back in time."
